The inspiration behind the package design of Kiyoshi came from an old Japanese stamp. Each flavor has a unique design that pays special attention to the area in which the featured fruit is grown in Japan. The imagery is simple, yet elegant and is tied together with an array of colored banners to specify flavors.
Unlike its packaging, Kiyoshi's website is filled with color. This design plays a modern twist on ancient Japanese water color paintings.
Natural Interiors is a senior thesis written and designed by Lucia Peterson. This book focuses on introducing natural elements into the home to improve the mood of those who dwell within.
Large imagery, clean text, and white space were used to create a contemporary and uncluttered book design. The cover is birch with a screen printed title. The book was hand bound using a Coptic binding technique.
